It confirmed that its fiber service is now available at Pinewood Station in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Just a couple of days ago, the company also announced plans to rollout fiber in Stallings, North Carolina.

On March 26, Google Fiber said it had broken ground at Hambright Junction in Huntersville, North Carolina, while on March 20, it revealed it's started construction in Round Rock, Texas.

Its planned rollout into Idaho is also going to plan, stating that its services will be live in Pocatello and Chubbuck later this year, though no official date was given.

Google Fiber officially launched in 2010, but the service first went live in Kansas City in 2012.

In an update on March 19, GFiber said it will also launch in the city of Blue Springs, Missouri, after the Missouri city council approved a license agreement for the company. Blue Springs is located 19 miles east of Kansas City.

Last month, Google Fiber confirmed it had been given the go-ahead to provide its broadband services in Nevada.

Construction is expected to get underway across Clark County, Nevada, towards the end of the year, with plans for the service to live by mid-2025.

Google Fiber also operates in a number of other states including Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas/Missouri, North Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington. The company also began the construction of its fiber rollout in Nebraska last year.

Last February, Google Fiber launched its 5 Gig fiber service across certain US markets, first launching in Kansas City, West Des Moines, and all Utah cities. Google Fiber said the service will be expanded to other cities across the US later this year.
