Photography and video-focused social media platform Instagram went down today in a global outage.
No reason was given for the service disruption.
Other Meta-owned platforms, including Facebook, WhatsApp, and Oculus were unaffected by the issues.
The company has experienced several outages this year, as it lays off tens of thousands of employees.
Meta is also in the midst of reworking its data centers so that it can support more artificial intelligence workloads, canceling in-development projects in favor of a new design that it claims will be 31 percent more cost-effective.
