Australian logistics firm Team Global Express has moved to the cloud with help from Infosys.
The cloud migration program required moving more than 300 applications and was achieved without any business impact to the 4,000+ users or to network integration spread over 100 sites.
The migration program used blueprints and tools from Infosys Cobalt, a set of services and platforms that can help companies migrate to the cloud, to enable Team Global Express to use a hybrid cloud-powered solution.
Infosys set up a "greenfield technology environment" for the logistics firm, which then migrated the company's applications and services to a data center in concurrence with the public cloud.
Around 70 percent of Team Global Express's applications were moved to the cloud, in a process that was entirely managed by Infosys.

The public cloud provider Team Global was moved to wasn't shared in this announcement. However, Capgemini, Infosys, and HCL were previously involved in the company's move to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as part of efforts to separate its IT environment from former parent company Toll Group. Toll agreed to sell the division to Allegro Funds in April 2021.
In January of this year, Infosys announced that it would be acquiring semiconductor design company InSemi. Infosys described the transaction as a “strategic investment [that] further strengthens Infosys’ Engineering R&D capabilities.”
