Anders Ygeman has been the Minister for Energy and Digital Development since 2019. Within his role his key areas of responsibility are digital development policy, energy, and digital public administration.

Previous roles have included Swedish Social Democratic Party Group Leader, Minister for Home Affairs, and Chair for both the Committee on Transport and Communications, and Committee on Environment and Agriculture .
