Jesse Sycuro, PE, CEM, CCP

North America Managing Director – Data Center and Facility Solutions, BGIS

Jesse is a Managing Director within BGIS’ critical facilities management center of expertise, responsible for managing Client data center operations and continuous improvement including training, energy efficiency, and maintenance management. Jesse brings over 13 years of experience in systems operations and optimization, energy efficiency, and program management. In addition, he has multiple years of experience managing a multi-region portfolio of large-scale client enterprise data centers. Prior to joining BGIS, Jesse served in a variety of roles ranging from Commissioning Agent to Operations Manager of Energy Management Services at McKinstry, a leading national energy services firm.

Jesse has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Geography from the University of Colorado and a Master’s of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional, a Certified Energy Manager, a Certified Commissioning Professional, and a Professional Engineer. Jesse is deeply involved in the Building Commissioning Association, including past service on the International Board of Directors and currently charring the National Conference on Building Commissioning). Prior to starting a civilian career, Jesse served in the United States Navy, including passage through the Navy’s nuclear power training program.
