Mark Collins

Board Director, Excool

Mark Collins is a main board Director for Excool with responsibility for project delivery from early conceptual introduction through to supply and beyond. He has been involved in the initial concept and subsequent 8 year research and development program for the product. During this time he has designed and built the complex software needed to calculate the systems energy efficiency in thousands of locations worldwide.

He has introduced the concept to audiences in USA, Europe, Russia, Southern Africa and Australia.  Mr Collins holds engineering qualifications gained through an apprenticeship served with Dunham Bush. He has held senior roles at Carrier and Airedale before running his own successful business for 12 years. Mark has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of cooling and air conditioning. During his time in the industry he has designed and delivered low temperature refrigeration, commercial air conditioning systems and environmental control of mission critical facilities
