Ramzi Namek

Senior Director, Design Management, NTT Global Data Centers

Ramzi joined NTT in 2019 and currently leads the design management teams and the subject matter expert (SME) teams. He is responsible for all phases of delivery of new design projects with mega-scale capacity across the portfolio.

Prior to his current role, Ramzi was Director of Technology Management at NTT and was responsible for creating and publishing the global design standard, which was adapted as the Basis of Design reference across the NTT Global Data Center companies. His team also oversaw commissioning activities and creating standardized scripts; in addition to development of specifications and standards, equipment testing, R&D, and change management.

Throughout his near 30 year career, Mr. Namek has been instrumental in developing innovative and sustainable technologies for power and cooling of data centers. He holds a Patent for Aisle/Rack Containment System and is published in leading journals on the topics of data center design and efficiency.
