Vice President of Advance Research - IT Systems, Vertiv

With over 30 years of years of experience in developing innovative hardware and software products and solutions, Steve Geffin leads the Advance Research team, focusing on strategy creation, engagements with key customers and partners and the research & development of emerging technologies and trends that align with the company’s objectives and future direction. He is responsible for driving the innovation pipeline by exploring and prototyping solutions for the management and control of the physical and IT infrastructures for the data center and telecommunications market.

During his tenure at Vertiv (formally Emerson Network Power) Steve has held a number of management positions including; VP of Architecture, VP of Engineering and VP of Solution Architecture. Prior to Vertiv, Steve was VP of Development at Avocent. Steve holds both a master’s degree and bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Miami, Florida
