Mr. Timo Ranne (M.Sc.) has had widely positions in data centre or related businesses over last twenty years. His experience being product supplier, business unit director, developing own data centre business and helping others design and developing their data centres, give him vast understanding from several angles to the market. Now focusing to help companies in strategies and business development. Located in Helsinki, Finland, but main working with European / global companies and specialized in the Nordics business environment.
In his day job with Granlund Oy as International Business Development Director, he is leading some data center key projects in Finland, but mainly focusing on projects and business in the Nordics and Europe. “This is fast growing and extremely interesting international industry”. Top of this, he is responsible of Granlund’s international business development.
As board member of Finnish data center association (FCDF) he focuses on international co-operations. Aiming to get data centers more sustainable and more fitting into whole ecosystem with connecting people by sharing best practices.
Even though the industry is very technology driven, Timo’s personal last few years’ interest has been more in business and ecosystem: It’s much more demanding to understand and solve the large-scale challenges of this buzzle.
