Director - Global Project Sales, Hitec Power Protection Inc

Chris ended a 10-year period with Moeller Electric in June 2001 to join Hitec UK as its Sales and Marketing Manager. Following 4 years in this role he then spent 3 years living in the Middle East as Hitec’s General Manager and then 6 years living in Asia Pacific as its Regional Director.

In his current role Chris is responsible for the management of Hitec’s Global Key Accounts, for the sale of new Hitec systems to strategic customers worldwide, and for supporting the Commercial Team and Hitec’s regional Partner networks.

During his tenure at Hitec Chris has built an intimate knowledge of the Global Data Centre market and a deep understanding of the drivers that clients use to select their secure power systems. He has been at the forefront of constructing innovative Dynamic UPS approaches to meet the demands of this important industry sector, and he has delivered solutions to numerous well-known Data Centre customers throughout the world.

Most recently Chris has played a leading role in the expansion of Hitec’s business throughout Asia and has led the APAC team to achieve successes in China, Singapore, Indonesia, and South Korea. Asia is a key growth market for DUPS systems and Chris will once more relocate from the UK to lead Hitec’s Asia Pacific Team; as soon as restrictions permit that is.
